India Semiconductor Association announced that Mr S. Janakiraman, President & CEO R&D Services, Mindtree Consulting, as its new Chairman. He replaces Mr Rajendra Kumar Khare.

Mr Jaswinder Ahuja, Managing Director, Cadence Design Systems, has been appointed Vice-Chairman, ISA, for the year 2007-08. The other elected members to the Executive Council are: Mr Vasudevan Moorthy, Wipro Technologies; Mr Sanjeev Keskar, Freescale Semiconductor; Mr Rajiv Kapur, LSI; Mr B.V. Naidu SemIndia; Dr Pradip K. Dutta, Synopsis; Dr Sunil Sherelekar, TCS; and Mr V. Veerappan, Tessolve Services.
