Firstsource clocks 60.6% rise in net

Firstsource Solutions has reported 60.6 per cent rise in consolidated net profit for the fourth quarter ended March. Net profit rose to Rs 34.91 crore from Rs 21.73 crore recorded in the corresponding previous period. Total revenues rose 71.2 per cent to Rs 276.78 crore (Rs 161.6 crore). Firstsource is a pure play BPO company operating in the banking and finance, telecom and media and healthcare verticals. For the fiscal ended March, it clocked 294.3 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 97.25 crore (Rs 24.66 crore). Revenues rose 52.8 per cent to Rs 840 crore (Rs 549.5 crore).

The company expects a wage hike of 8-10 per cent across all locations, said Mr Ananda Mukerji, Managing Director and CEO.
