PCK `Vision 2012'

Plantation Corporation of Kerala (PCK) Ltd will launch the `Vision 2012' programme as part of its golden jubilee celebrations. Apart from its rubber, cashew and oil palm crops, PCK will also start cultivating medicinal plants, pineapple, pepper etc. Jatropha cultivation is also proposed to be undertaken on an experimental basis to produce bio-diesel, said Mr T.J. Anjalose, Chairman, and Mr Babu Thomas, Managing Director of PCK Ltd.

The Agriculture Minister, Mr Mullakkara Rathnakaran, will inaugurate the programme on Monday. Mr K. Suresh Kurup, MP, will inaugurate the training centre and Mr V.N. Vasavan, MLA, will release the logo.
