`Make BPO jobs available for rural youth'

New Delhi April 29 Corporate social responsibility initiatives should ensure that rural youth is not deprived of the emerging job opportunities in the BPO and ITES sector, said Ms Sudha Pillai, Secretary, Labour and Employment.

While speaking at a seminar organised jointly by PHD Chamber and Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, she said that corporate houses should adopt pro-rural governance for eradication of child labour by involving panchayat members, particularly women panchs.
