The ISO 9001:2000 certification was awarded to BHEL's Corporate R&D Division, Hyderabad, by the Bureau Veritas Certification (India). The certificate was formally presented to Mr S.K. Goyal, Executive Director of Corporate R&D Division, by Mr V. Sunil Kumar, Head of BVC(I), Hyderabad Chapter. With this, BHEL joins a select group of organisations in the country, which have achieved ISO certification for their R&D activities.
