New Delhi, April 30

CNN-IBN will be a free-to-air channel in the CAS notified areas of Kolkata from May 15. The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) on Monday posted the subscription status of three channels on it Web site. While SET Discovery clarified that its channel SET Pix has been airing free-to-air in Chennai CAS areas from the beginning of the year, Ushodaya Enterprises' ETV Marathi has become a pay channel in all CAS notified areas, from March 26.

TRAI, since fixing a maximum retail price for channels in CAS areas at Rs 5, has regularly posted changes in the subscription status, or pricing of broadcasters on its Web site.
