New Delhi, April 30

TVS Motor Company has opened its manufacturing facility in Solan, Himachal Pradesh with an investment of Rs 120 crore. The production capacity of the plant is 4 lakh motorcycles per annum that can be scaled up to 6 lakh units per annum. With the new plant, TVS will have reduced cost of transportation of vehicles, as this facility will cater to northern India market and parts of central India.
