Cairn India Ltd has set up an advisory board to provide advice and direction to the management of the company on matters pertaining to stakeholder relations and corporate social responsibility activities at project and corporate levels. The Corporate Advisory Board will be chaired by Mr Sundeep Bhandari who has had a long involvement with Cairn, according to a company release. Mr Bhandari has previously advised not only Cairn but also other international companies, including Mobil and Marathon on E&P projects. He has been involved with the development of Cairn's business in India since the beginning (1994) when he put together the consortium of Cairn, ONGC and Videocon to operate the Ravva oil and gas field off the Andhra coast.
