Pioneer Embroideries PAT climbs 90%

Mumbai May 1 Pioneer Embroideries Ltd has posted a 90.04 per cent increase in profit after tax at Rs 4.77 crore (Rs 2.51 crore) for the quarter ended March 31, 2007. Net sales rose to Rs 44.1 crore from Rs 39.88 crore, a growth of 10.58 per cent.

The company allotted 13,33,333 equity shares of Rs 10 each on March 30 to the shareholders of Royal Embroideries Pvt Ltd pursuant to the scheme of amalgamation of Royal Embroideries and Grant Apparel Pvt Ltd with Pioneer Embroideries.
