State Bank of Indore net rises

New Delhi, May 1

State Bank of Indore has reported a 36.55 per cent increase in net profit for the year ended March 31, 2007 to Rs 189.96 crore against Rs 139.11 crore in the previous year. A release issued by the bank said its total business, as at the end of March 31, 2007, crossed Rs 35,000 crore. While its total deposits increased from Rs 16,660.71 crore to Rs 19,976.48 crore, its advances grew 28.82 per cent from Rs 12,022.10 crore to Rs 15,486.52 crore.
