Aurobindo drug gets S. African nod

Hyderabad, May 1

Aurobindo Pharma has received marketing authorisation approval for Citalopram tablets (20 mg) from the Medicines Control Council (MCC), South Africa. The drug, popularly known as Celexa, is mostly used in symptoms of depression but is also prescribed in some forms of anxiety and pre-menstrual dysphoric disorder.
