STAR India has announced that Mr Sanjay Jain will now be acting as Chief Financial Officer for the broadcaster. Mr Jain, who was Deputy Chief Financial Officer, STAR India, will report to Mr Uday Shankar, the recently appointed Chief Operating Officer.

The broadcaster has been seeing several new appointments and promotions since the departure of STAR India's Entertainment head Mr Sameer Nair, and that of Mr Peter Mukherjea, former CEO, Star India, as well as that of the global Chief Executive Officer, Ms Michelle Guthrie, early this year.
