The Indian School of Business (ISB) here has attracted more women students this year compared to the pervious year.

Their number has increased to 25 per cent of 425 in the class of 2008, compared with 20 per cent of 416 in the previous year. Further, 19 scholarships had been extended to them, including exclusive scholarships from companies such as Novartis, according to a release issued here today. The number of international students had also gone up to 5 per cent this year, compared with one per cent in 2007. In addition to the 23 international students, the class also has 63 NRI students.
