TOURISTS ENJOYING sunbath on a beach in Lakshadweep. The Union Government has allotted Rs 754 crore for promotion of tourism in Lakshadweep during the 11th Plan period. Current promotion measures include opening up of all Lakshadweep islands for tourists and offering tour packages that include snorkelling, scuba diving and lagoon cruising.
