Telecommunications Ericsson will use Kavveri Tele's products Our Bureau
Bangalore May 8 Bangalore-based Kavveri Telecom announced Ericsson India will use its products to provide telecommunication services across the country. The agreement is valid for a period of three years and is estimated to bring in orders worth around Rs 50 crore for that time period. Kavveri manufactures radio frequency (RF) products and antennas for many GSM and CDMA operators, including Hutch, Reliance, Spice and BSNL. It also has in its clientele Motorola, Ericsson, Nokia, Nortel, ZTE. In March, the company bagged contracts worth Rs 40 crore each from two operators Hutch and Idea for the supply of feeder cables, connectors and accessories for their base stations roll out.
