Shree Diesel to make silent DG sets

Shree Diesel Services (SDS) has set up a modern plant at Pirangut, for the manufacture of silent DG sets. The facility will manufacture Diesel Gensets (10-550 kVa ) conforming to the CPCB norms under the brand name "S Power".

SDS are OEMS for Greaves Cotton Ltd and Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd. Mr Nachiket Malshe, partner SDS, said that the company had invested about Rs 10 crore in the new project that will cater to the needs of the retail sector. The plant has a current capacity of 600 Gen-sets per year, and with another 12,000 sq. ft. construction underway, the capacity will increase to 1,000 per year.
