NMCE launches new series of futures contracts

Ahmedabad May 10 National Multi-Commodity Exchange on Thursday launched new series in soya oil, guar seed and chana desi futures contracts.

The new contracts in soya oil and guar seed will expire on September 20, 2007, whereas that in chana on November 20, 2007.

The first delivery day begins three days ahead of the maturity date on September 17 and November 17 respectively, NMCE said here in a release.

The delivery centre for soya oil is Indore in Madhya Pradesh and that for guar seed are Jodhpur (basis centre), Bikaner, Nokha in Rajasthan and Deesa in Gujarat, with freight discount through Central Warehouse Corporation (CWC) Receipt. The delivery centre for Chana is CWC Delhi.
