Software Corporate - Awards & Honours iGATE in WEF's Global Growth Companies Our Bureau
Bangalore May 10 iGATE Global Solutions has been invited as a member of the World Economic Forum's (WEF) Community of Global Growth Companies (GGC). iGATE has been identified as one of the Global Growth Companies for demonstrating a clear potential in becoming a leader in the global economy, based on parameters such as its business model, growth record, leadership and the markets it serves, the company said in a press release. WEF's Community of Global Growth Companies are a new generation of companies coming primarily from rapidly growing emerging markets, such as China and India, and also include fast movers from the developed economies. These new business champions are expected to fundamentally change the global competitive landscape. Mr Phaneesh Murthy, CEO and MD, iGATE said, "It is an honour to be welcomed as a new member of the league of Global Growth Companies formed by WEF."
