eInfochips partners with Nirma varsity

Ahmedabad May 11 eInfochips has partnered with Nirma University to conduct a training session for the State's engineering faculty, the company announced here.

The objective of this programme is to further strengthen the technology foundation of engineering institutions by sharing advanced industry relevant methodologies and technologies in electronics, computers, communication, programming techniques and operating systems with the faculty.

Invitation has been extended to all the leading engineering colleges across the State for participation in this programme. The workshop is scheduled till June 2 at the Department of Electrical Engineering Institute of Technology, Nirma University.

Senior technical managers from eInfochips will conduct lectures on advanced programming techniques in C-Language, advanced operating systems, development of device drivers, digital signal processing and RISC architecture, said Mr Pratul Shroff, CEO, eInfochips.

eInfochips, based in Ahmedabad and Sunnywale, California (US), is a leading provider of silicon design, product design and application software services. Founded in 1994, the company has worldwide sales of approximately $15 million in the financial year 2006-2007.
