Hyderabad May 13 The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) has asked the southern States to develop pan-South tourism products, making it a single, seamless and attractive tourist destination. The FICCI asked Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh to address the issues of connectivity, accommodation and inter-State tax differentials to pave the way for development of tourism. A study on `Positioning South India as a world class tourism destination', prepared by FICCI and Crisil, called for creation of `Vision South India' and formation of South India Tourism Council to explore and tap the huge potential for tourism in this part of the country.
