Dalmia Cement Q4 net up 15%

Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Ltd has reported a 15 per cent growth in net profit at Rs 61.81 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 2007. Its turnover rose 57.47 per cent to Rs 336.5 crore against Rs 213.69 crore. It has posted a net profit of Rs 229.01 crore for 2006-07, up from Rs 85.61 crore for the previous year.

Consolidated revenues for the year increased to Rs 1,157.54 crore, from Rs 652.28 crore in the year ended March 2006. The company's share was down 4.46 per cent at Rs 336.05 on the BSE on Monday.
