Real Estate & Construction Lanco Infratech Q4 net at Rs 60 cr Our Bureau
Hyderabad May 14 Lanco Infratech Ltd's net profit increased to Rs 56.9 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 31 compared to Rs 8.3 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous fiscal. The total income increased five-fold to over Rs 500 crore (Rs 96.8 crore), according to a release. For the year 2006-07, net profit increased to Rs 187.9 crore (Rs 17.1 crore). The total income went up to Rs 1,647.3 crore (Rs 148.4 crore). As on March 31, the company had a net worth of Rs 1,886.8 crore and a gross block of Rs 1,918.6 crore.
Major projects
During the year, the company had won the Anpara C Power Project in Uttar Pradesh and the 3,960-MW Sasan Ultra Mega power project in Madhya Pradesh. It achieved financial closure for the 1,015-MW Nagarjuna Power Project in Mangalore. The construction work is currently in progress in Amarkantak - I & II and a hydropower project in Himachal Pradesh. In Hyderabad, Lanco is developing an IT park in about 100 acres of land in which the Centre had declared 25 acres as a special economic zone, the release said.
