New director for Geojit BNP

Kochi, May 15

Mr Stefan Groening has joined Geojit BNP Paribas as Director, Planning and Control at its Corporate Office, in Kochi. He will be in charge of Compliance, Audit and Control, according to a press release. Mr Groening was earlier in the internal audit section of Cortal Consors, which is a 100 per cent subsidiary of BNP Paribas.

Geojit BNP Paribas is a leading financial services intermediary in India, offering investment and trading opportunities in equities, derivatives and commodities with a strong base in the distribution of financial products such as mutual funds, insurance, bonds, IPOs and so on. In March 2007, BNP Paribas took a 27.2 per cent stake in Geojit Financial Services Ltd.
