NMCE's record rubber delivery

The National Multi-Commodity Exchange (NMCE) has set a new record in physical delivery of 4,583 tonnes of rubber in May, improving its own record of 4,193 tonnes physical delivery in March. Among other highly traded commodities at NMCE, the physical delivery of pepper in May stood at 1,771 tonnes and cardamom was at 222 quintal. Rubber for May delivery settled at Rs 8,452 lower than Rs 9,425 of April and Rs 8,770 of March. Pepper May ended at Rs 14,895 lower than Rs 15,253 of April, but higher than Rs 11,523 in March. Cardamom May settled at Rs 394, was lower than April's settlement price of Rs 404 and March's Rs 482.
