JK Lakshmi Cement Ltd on Wednesday reported more than three-fold jump in its net profit for the quarter ended March 31 at Rs 60.83 crore compared with Rs 23.7 crore posted during the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal. The company's sales during the quarter grew 43 per cent at Rs 304 crore (Rs 212.84 crore), the company said in a statement.

For the fiscal ended March 31, the company's profit after tax grew more than four-fold at Rs 178.11 crore (Rs 55.45 crore). The company's net sales in the year stood at Rs 844 crore (Rs 589.65 crore), up 43 per cent year-on-year.
