Keltron in supply deal with Sarabhai Space Centre

Thiruvananthapuram May 17 Kerala State Electronics Development Corporation Ltd (Keltron) has signed an agreement with the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) Thiruvananthapuram for the supply of sub assemblies for PSLV and GSLV launch vehicles.

According to the agreement, Keltron will receive Rs 50 lakh as advance to improve the test facilities at its Space Electronics Wings in Thiruvananthapuram, says a press release. Keltron has also submitted a long-term plan to VSSC for more work from the space centre. The company, which has worked in the space electronics sector for a decade, is looking at a turnover of Rs 10 crore in the next few years, the release adds.

Dr B.N. Suresh, Director, VSSC and Mr M. Narayanan, Managing Director, Keltron signed the agreement in the presence of the Kerala Industries Minister, Mr Elamaram Kareem.
