Dr R.K. Bammi, a member of the board of directors of Sami Labs Ltd, has been appointed Chairman of the Sami group of companies, a company release said.

Dr Muhammed Majeed, founder of the company, will continue to be the Managing Director of Sami Labs and CEO of Sabinsa Corporation. Dr Bammi's movement has been made to further professionalise the group, Dr Majeed said. The Bangalore-based nutraceuticals company Sami Labs is the holding company and Sabinsa its global marketing arm.
