Nod for kharif crops' MSP

New Delhi, May 17

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) on Thursday accepted the recommendation of CACP for minimum support price (MSP) for kharif crops. However, in case of arhar and moong, it went beyond the CACP recommendation.

In case of paddy, the MSP will be Rs 635 a quintal. It will be Rs 600 a quintal each for jowar and bajra, Rs 1,240 for nigerseed, Rs 1,800 for medium staple cotton and Rs 2,030 for long staple cotton.
