London help for Mumbai

The Lord Mayor of London, Mr John Stuttard, who represents UK-based financial services, will arrive in India on May 20 to explore how the City of London can work with the Government of India to develop an international financial centre in Mumbai.

Mr Stuttard and an accompanying delegation of up to 40 senior business people from the UK will share their experience of developing a financial centre and adapting to globalisation. Mr Stuttard's weeklong schedule includes meetings with the Minister of Finance, Minister for Commerce and Industry, the Mayor of Kolkata and the Governor of the Reserve Bank of India.
