KIOM gets ISO certification

Kolkata, May 20

Kiriburu Iron Ore Mine (KIOM) of Steel Authority of India Ltd, located in Jharkhand has been given ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System certification by the Bureau of Indian Standard (BIS). Operating under the SAIL's Raw Materials Division, this is the first mine to receive the certificate. The certification testifies to the mine's systematic improvement in process, quality and maintenance, a Press release said.
