HIGHER EARNINGS: Spices kept for sale at a shop in Kochi, Kerala. Export of spices from the country fetched a revenue of Rs 3,575.75 crore through shipment of 3,73,750 tonnes during 2006-07 against Rs 2,627.62 crore from 3,50,363 tonnes in 2005-06.
