Hyderabad May 22 Security software provider Intoto today announced the beta release of IntruPro, an intrusion prevention system for enterprises, particularly small and medium enterprises (SMEs). This is available as a free download at www.openintoto.com for 30 days. This solution allows channel partners and IT managers to easily create a security environment making it an ideal solution for any small and medium enterprise.
Vulnerabilities
The Chief Executive Officer of Intoto, Mr Sathyan Iyengar, in a statement said: "Due to costs, network security has been out of reach of many small and medium sized enterprises. With this solution, businesses can now receive the same level of security, functionality and performance as large enterprises have." This product is designed to prevent an intruder from exploiting vulnerabilities in an existing computer system or network. And it also prevents individuals inside the enterprise from misusing privileges and exploiting vulnerabilities in the network.
