HK co to maintain lounges at Hyderabad international airport

Hyderabad May 23 GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd (GHIAL) has tied up with Plaza Premium Lounge of Hong Kong for maintaining and managing lounges in the upcoming new international airport at Shamshabad on the outskirts of Hyderabad.

The concession agreement would be for a period of seven years starting from the date of operation of the airport, according to a press release from GHIAL, which is developing the airport.

Plaza Premium Lounge is a reputed lounge management company and is currently managing and operating 21 airport lounges in seven international airports in different parts of the globe.

These include airports such as Hong Kong International Airport, Changi Airport at Singapore, Kuala Lumpur International Airport, Vancouver International Airport, Guangzhou International Airport, Beijing Capital International Airport and Shanghai Pudong International Airport.

The company has been chosen the preferred bidder among the five top-class lounge management companies from different countries that vied for getting this contract, based on their proven track record and their innovative plan for creation of the ultra-modern lounges in the international airport, expected to be operational by March, 2008.

GHIAL said the lounge offers facilities for passengers to relax and enjoy in a comfortable environment.

It is focused on quality, comfort and hygiene and will provide unparalleled services to cater to all the needs and wants of passengers.
