The Hindu Business Line : Another Vasan hospital in Kerala

Vasan Eye Care Hospital has announced the launch of its operations in the city. With this, the company now has eye care hospitals in five cities in Kerala.

The hospital in Thiruvananthapuram has been launched in association with Sri Gokulam Medical Foundation, says a company press release. The hospital covers an area of 20,000 sq.ft. and is located in the city's Pattom locality. According to the press release, Vasan Health Care, the parent company of Vasan Eye Care Hospital, will soon go in for an initial public offering. Besides its eye care hospitals in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala, the company also has a presence in the pharmaceuticals retail segment, the release adds.
