Hyderabad, May 25

In a move that can further strengthen the technical education scenario in Andhra Pradesh, the Georgia Tech University will soon set up its campus in Hyderabad. A decision to this effect had been taken at a high-level meeting chaired by the Chief Minister, Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy.

The university had been in talks with AP Invest to set up its campus in Hyderabad and to expand it to Visakahapatnam later. It would obtain permission of All India Council for Technical Education and offer MS degrees and Ph.Ds in various subjects like engineering, science, industrial and business management, among others.
