Mr K.J. Harshan, Executive Director of the Federal Bank Ltd, speaking at the 4th annual conference of Information System and Control Association (ISACA) here, said in the era of information technology, IS security and control have an over-riding relevance and importance. "Even today we pray to God to give us a trouble free operation since every activity is system driven and control failures cannot be totally ruled out. Business should drive technology and not the other way round," he said.

Delivering the keynote address, Mr G. Padmanabhan, Chief General Manager, RBI, said that in IT driven banking, an auditor has to combine the qualities of a techie, a banker and an auditor.
