Hyderabad May 27 Smeg, Italy has launched its Smeg-Italian bellwether brand of built-in appliances in Hyderabad.

Tristar Appliances Pvt Ltd — the sole Indian retail arm of Smeg, Italy — will bring the range of Italian appliances to Hyderabad though its partner SMB International, Hyderabad.

Smeg is known the world over for its lifestyle products. It is a technology and quality-driven brand with style as its hallmark.

The three categories of products — cooking, cooling and washing — address the needs of style-conscious and quality-sensitive customers, says Mr Ravi Dutta, CEO,Smeg India.

Mr Renzo Piano, a world-renowned architect, designed the Piano range of hoods, hobs, ovens and a retro design of Smeg washing machines, dish-washers, refrigerators — popularly called the FAB Range.

This was unveiled by Smeg in association with its partner SMB International at the upmarket Banjara Hills area in the city on Friday.
