Industry-oriented technical skills training proposed

New Delhi May 27 Technical skills should be imparted through industry-oriented training, said Prof Damodar Acharya, Chairman, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

While speaking at the signing of memorandum of understanding between the Confederation of Indian Industry and AICTE on Saturday, Prof Acharya said enhancing global mobility of the Indian engineers and alignment of the Indian accreditation with the global accreditation system are the key focus of the council.
