Meet on flour milling tech

Chennai, May 27

Kansas State University, in association with the Milling and Baking Forum, is planning a seminar on `Latest trends in flour milling' on May 31 in Ahmedabad. The purpose of the seminar is to give orientations on supplies market consolidations and developments and quality and food safety. Workshops on sanitation, food safety and pest management are also on the cards.

These two-day workshops will be conducted at Chennai, Pune and Hyderabad, according to a release. The Department of Grain Science and Industry of the University currently offers a short course on `Flour Milling in India' for operative millers, mill managers and sales and marketing personnel.
