Mumbai May 28 Tata Tea touched a 52-week high of Rs 990 in intra-day trading on the BSE on Monday. The stock closed at Rs 934.1 today, up 2.24 per cent from Friday's close of Rs 913.65. It has been trading heavily on the bourses in the last one month, especially after the company sold its stake in US-based Energy Brands Inc, owners of the Glaceau brand of beverages, to Coca-Cola. The stock has gone up by 21.18 per cent on a month-on-month basis and 11.16 per cent on a week-on-week basis. On the NSE, the scrip touched an intra-day high of Rs 1,021.5 before closing at Rs 935, 2.17 per cent up from its previous close.
