Voice chat from Airtel fixed lines

Airtel Broadband and Telephone Services has introduced a voice chat facility over its fixed lines to enable its subscribers chat anonymously via telephone, along the lines of Internet-based chatting. According to a release, the service is available for a monthly rental of Rs 30 and with each call charged at Rs 3 a minute. However, until June 30, no monthly rental will be charged as part of an introductory offer, the release said. Users can register for the facility by dialling *694.
