Thulasidas is CMD, Trivedi Joint MD of new entity

New Delhi May 29 Mr V. Thulasidas has been appointed as the Chairman and Managing Director of Air India, the new entity created by the merger of Air India and Indian, according to an official statement issued here on Tuesday.

The current Chairman and Managing Director, Indian, Mr V. Trivedi has been appointed as the Joint Managing Director of Air India.

Current duties

Mr Thulasidas and Mr Trivedi would continue as the CMD of AI and IA till the merged entity comes into being.

Both Mr Thulasidas and Mr Trivedi are to be the CMD and Joint CMD respectively till March 31 next year or until further notice, the statement adds.
