Tantia bags Rs 178-cr road works order

Mumbai May 31 Infrastructure and construction company, Tantia Constructions Ltd, has bagged orders worth Rs 178.29 crore of road works in Bihar.

The Central Public Works Department (CPWD) awarded contracts are for works in Rohtas, Lakhisarai and Jamui districts of the state. The project value for construction and development of highways in Rohtas is Rs 113.45 crore and in Jamui and Lakshisarai is Rs 64.84 crore. The company, listed on the BSE, currently has orders worth Rs 1,200 crore on hand of which the ongoing projects in Bihar are worth Rs 400 crore.

Mr. Siddhartha Tantia, Vice-President (Corporate Planning), Tantia Constructions, said: "We are privileged to have won these projects from our existing clients, as it reflects the confidence they have in us."
