The Erode-based agro-business enterprise SKM Animal Feeds and Foods (India) Ltd has won the National Productivity Council's award in the animal feed processing category for 2005-06. This is in recognition of the company's feat in both quality and quantity of feed manufacture. According to a company press release, the award was given by Dr Akilesh Prasad Singh at a function in Delhi early last week which was received by the Managing Director of SKM Animal Feeds and Foods, Dr M. Chandrasekar. SKM Animal Feeds and Foods is engaged in production of cattle and poultry feed processing.
