Raymond launches Notting Hill

Our Bureau

Kochi June 1 Raymond Apparel Ltd has announced the launch of Notting Hill, the new brand apparel, in the Kerala market here on Friday.

Addressing a press meet, Mr Shreyas Joshi, President, Raymond Apparel Ltd, said the new apparel brand under the popular price segment would feature a spectrum of men's lifestyle products that would range from formal wear to relaxed casual wear. It will target the young professionals between the age group of 22-30 years, he said.

The range would comprise suits, shirts, trousers, jeans, t-shirts and also accessories such as ties, handkerchiefs and socks.

Kerala is a good market as far as the apparel industry in the organised sector is concerned and the company is targeting a share of 25 per cent from the market. "We are planning to open two or three exclusive Notting Hill showrooms in the State."

He pointed out that Notting Hill would be retailed across the country in a phased manner and would be made available across the country with over 400 distribution points by the end of this year. With the launch of Notting Hill, the company would enhance its existing brand portfolio, which includes leading apparel brands such as Park Avenue, Colour Plus, Parx, Manzoni and Zapp, he said.

He said Raymond had recently set up a Design Studio in Italy that would provide the company's various apparel brands with access to international quality inputs in the areas of design and product development. It would also give RAL brands a distinct design edge over competition, he added.
