New Delhi June 3 Leading a 100-member delegation of Ministers and business leaders, the Brazilian President, Mr Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, arrived in New Delhi on Sunday on a three-day visit.

Mr Silva, who would be meeting the Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh, on Monday, is likely to discuss a wide range of issues He is slated to sign a few agreements.

Mr Silva, who would be visiting India for the second time after three years, will also meet the President, Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam; the External Affairs Minister, Mr Pranab Mukherjee, and the UPA Chairperson, Ms Sonia Gandhi. During his visit, he would also meet Indian industry captains.

India and Brazil work together under the framework of G-4, seeking UN reforms, and also in multilateral forums, including UN, WTO and G-20, besides co-operating under the framework of IBSA (India-Brazil-South Africa) group. In 2006, India's exports to Brazil reached $1,470 million and imports were $937 million.
