New Delhi, June 5

Reliance mobile users will now be able to stream live CNN International's news and other programming. The agreement between Turner International India and Reliance Communications will allow Reliance consumers to also download ringtones, wallpapers, and popular animations from Cartoon Network's portfolio which includes Tom & Jerry, Scooby-Doo and Dexter.

For those who have phones that allow for online streaming, the new association offers round-the-clock news and other programming. "For today's consumer who is always on the move, time is a rare commodity, and with technology swiftly changing the traditional means of news and entertainment consumption, it is imperative to be present on platforms that are easily accessible by our target audience," said Mr Siddharth Jain, Vice-President of Distribution and Business Operations (India and South Asia), Turner International India, in a company release.
