Proto.in invites entries for second edition

Chennai June 6 `Proto.in', a biannual event that showcases technology start-up companies and innovative products, is inviting entries for its second edition to be held on July 21 and 22 at IIT Madras, according to a press release.

Organised by The Knowledge Foundation, a national network of entrepreneurs and technology enthusiasts, the second edition will see participation from at least 20 venture capitalist firms including Sequoia Capital, Canaan Partners, Matrix Partners, Greylock Partners, Mentor Partners, Clearstone Ventures and others representing over $1.5 billion in fund size for India investments. Nasscom, IAMAI, TiE, and TeNeT are supporting the event.

Start-up companies willing to participate in the event can log on to www.proto.in before June 15.
