H&R Johnson plans 5 new facilities

The Rs 900-crore H&R Johnson (India) Ltd - a Raheja group company - is setting up five cement tile manufacturing facilities in the country at a total investment of Rs 40 crore. Cement tiles are required primarily for outdoor beautification.

According to a company release issued here today, having forayed into cement tile business in 2006, HRJ has five such units in the South with a total production capacity of 270,000 sq.ft a month. The new units are planned in West Bengal, Gujarat, Pune, Punjab and Delhi and will boost the total cement tile manufacturing capacity of HRJ to 5,90,000 sq.ft a month. According to the company, these 10 units together will play a major role in achieving 30 per cent top-line growth to Rs 1,200 crore turnover during the current fiscal.
