US nod for two more Strides drugs

Bangalore June 6 Strides Arcolab Ltd has announced that it has received tentative USFDA approvals for two new applications for HIV drugs.

They are fixed dose combinations of Lamivudine/Stavudine 150 mg/40 mg tablets and Lamivudine/Zidovudine 150/300 mg tablets - both co-packaged with Efavirenz 600mg tablets.

Mr Arun Kumar, Vice-Chairman and MD, said, "We now have approvals for all key frontline HIV/AIDS medicine.

"This, combined with our pipeline of second line drugs, will make us a significant player in the quality, affordable multi-source ARVs business segment."
